Welcome to The Nenagh Union of Parishes

A Union of Parishes of the Church of Ireland based in the Northwest of County Tipperary 

Our Union consists of three parishes of the Church of Ireland within the United Diocese of Tuam, Limerick and Killaloe.

Our parish is made of three ancient parishes combined into a Union with one Rector overseeing them. The parishes are St Mary's Nenagh, Killodiernan and Templederry which are adjacent to the southeast part of Lough Derg and form part of the historic Diocese of Killaloe which is now amalgamated into a much larger United Diocese of Tuam, Limerick and Killaloe, covering the vast majority of the West of Ireland.

Within our churches and community, you will find a welcome, whoever you are, because we believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is a school for sinners who seek to receive the grace freely offered by God and to learn, along with others, from the examples of Jesus and the Saints of His Church rather than an exclusive club for those who feel that they are better than those outside it.

Our Services vary from traditional and formal to a more relaxed format for worship such as a Family Service but whichever one you choose to attend, we hope that you leave enlightened, refreshed and enthused as we seek to fold the earthly and the heavenly into one continuum through praise, prayer and silence.
