Safeguarding
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is of paramount importance in Nenagh Union. It ensures that everyone can attend services, activities and generally be involved in church life knowing that anyone who is considered vulnerable whether due to age or physical or mental capacity will be protected from harm to the best of our ability.
The Rector, Lay Ministers and Church Members who have regular contact with those considered vulnerable are trained in Safeguarding.
If anyone has any Safeguarding concerns, they should report them to a member of the Parish Safeguarding Panel immediately. If a Panel Member cannot be contacted then a report should be made to Tusla or the Gardai.
The relevant contact details are to be found in the attached document.
