Weddings

The Holy Rite of Matrimony is the Solemnisation of a Marriage between and man and a woman. 

In Ireland, the State sanctions marriages and provides the relevant authority to the clergy to solemnise the marriage.

Please note that some days in the Church Calendar are unsuitable for weddings, particularly Sundays, Holy Week, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
